Maintaining a clean and organized workspace and ensuring that tools and equipment are properly stored and maintained.
Staying up-to-date on the latest Volvo, Renault & Shacman truck technology and repair techniques through ongoing training and development.
The job is particularly suitable for candidates who meet the following minimum requirements and possess the following attributes.
Good oral and written communication skills
Craft certificate/Diploma Auto Mechanics.
Grade 12 Certificate.
Previous 3-5 years’ experience from reputable transporter as a Mechanic with more than 150 -200 trucks running Congo, Tanzania and South Africa.
Ability to communicate well, Team player, customer centric and should have a clean record.
Ability to adhere to instructions, planning and cost management.

We seek an Associate Programme Officer to join Nature Conserved team and work within our Global Wildlife Trade focal initiative.
This role will involve supporting the delivery of UNEP-WCMC’s suite of projects focussed on tackling one of the main drivers of species loss - overexploitation. The successful candidate will help contribute to global efforts to ensure that international trade in wildlife is well-regulated, legal and sustainable.
Key areas of responsibility
👉Analysis and synthesis of information from primary literature and from multiple sources to produce succinct technical reports for policy-makers.
👉Analysis of large datasets and producing graphical representation of the data into outputs in a clear and digestible manner for policy-makers.
👉Contribution towards drafting and compiling other publications and analyses for policy-makers, particularly in relation to international wildlife trade.
👉Respond to requests for technical information on behalf of the programme.
👉Contribute towards the implementation of the Centre’s strategy and mission to support decision-makers through the provision of authoritative biodiversity data and information.
Skills we seek
🔸Excellent written and spoken English.
🔸Excellent attention to detail and motivation to ensure that information entered into databases are accurate.
🔸Strong analytical skills and critical review of scientific information.
🔸Strong numerical skills and ability to analyse quantitative data; experience with R is desirable.
🔸Excellent time management and tasks prioritisation skills.
🔸Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
