Jacaranda Hub (JHub) is an Entrepreneurship Service Provider (ESP), social enterprise, and ecosystem builder committed to supporting youth and women entrepreneurs across Zambia. Through partnerships, innovation programmes, and shared services, JHub strengthens MSMEs and advances inclusive socio-economic development.

The Gender Equality, Social Inclusion and Safeguarding (GESI) Coordinator will provide strategic leadership and technical oversight for gender equality, social inclusion, safeguarding, and accountability across all Jacaranda Hub programmes and projects.

The role is responsible for ensuring that gender-transformative, inclusive, and rights-based approaches are systematically integrated into JHub’s policies, programme design, implementation, monitoring, and partnerships. The Coordinator will work closely with programme teams, partners, community structures, and donors to challenge harmful social norms, address structural barriers, and strengthen participation and leadership of women, youth, and other marginalised groups.

Key Responsibilities

1. GESI Strategy, Policy & Systems

Lead the development, review, and implementation of JHub-wide GESI, safeguarding, and accountability policies and guidelines.

Ensure all projects integrate gender equality, youth inclusion, disability inclusion, and safeguarding principles in line with donor and organisational standards.

Provide technical guidance to ensure compliance with GESI and safeguarding commitments across programmes and partnerships.

2. Programme Integration & Technical Support

Provide coordinated technical support for gender mainstreaming and social inclusion across planning, budgeting, implementation, and monitoring of all JHub projects.

Support programme teams to design and implement gender-transformative andsocially inclusive interventions.

Serve as the focal point for all GESI-related activities across project sites.

3. Capacity Strengthening & Behaviour Change

Design and coordinate training for staff, partners, community leaders, and relevant government structures on GESI, safeguarding, and accountability.

Support community-level dialogue and behaviour change initiatives aimed at addressing harmful social norms and power imbalances.

Strengthen partner capacity to deliver inclusive and gender-responsive programming.

4. Partnerships, Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy

Liaise with donors, government ministries, CSOs, NGOs, and ecosystem actors on GESI and safeguarding matters.

Represent Jacaranda Hub in sector-wide and thematic GESI forums at local and national levels.

Support co-creation of activities with women, youth, and marginalised groups to ensure community ownership and relevance.

5. Monitoring, Learning & Accountability

Work closely with the MEAL team to integrate GESI indicators into monitoring frameworks and reporting systems.

Monitor, document, and report on GESI performance across projects.

Support implementation of community accountability mechanisms and prevention of sexual exploitation, abuse, and harassment.

6. Knowledge Management & Learning

Document best practices, lessons learned, and human-interest stories related to gender equality and social inclusion.

Contribute to organisational learning and continuous improvement of inclusive programming approaches.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Development Studies, Social Sciences, Gender Studies, or a related field.

A Master’s degree in Gender and Development, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field is a strong advantage.

Minimum of three to five (3–5) years’ experience in gender equality, social inclusion, safeguarding, or related development programming.

Demonstrated experience in gender-responsive or gender-transformative programming, preferably within entrepreneurship, agriculture, climate, or youth programmes.

Job Purpose

Qualifications & Experience

- G 12 certificate

- Diploma in Horticulture, Agriculture, Environmental Science, or related field.

- 3 years experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance.

Role Overview:

We are seeking a capable and reliable Farm Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day running of a medium sized commercial (arable and horticultural) farm in Ikelenge, NWP. You will be responsible for coordinating labour, managing agricultural activities, and implementing the strategic direction provided by leadership.

This is a hands-on management role requiring excellent planning, communication, and coordination skills.



Key Responsibilities:

· Oversee daily farming operations, including planting, maintenance, harvest, irrigation, and livestock care (where applicable)

· Lead supervisors, farm workers and casual labourers

· Execute strategic farm plans in consultation with the Chief of Staff and Managing Director

· Track and report progress on all ongoing field activities

· Maintain farm equipment and coordinate basic repairs

· Ensure safety protocols and efficient use of resources

· Assist with procurement and stock management (seeds, fertilisers, fuel, etc.)

· Support record-keeping and contribute to regular operational reports

Working hours: Ordinarily 40 h Monday to Friday, although additional hours may be required at peak times commensurate with this salaried management role.



Essential Skills:

· Minimum 2+ years of experience in agricultural operations or farm supervision, including record-keeping

Good Neighbors Zambia is implementing a Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) project in Chiwena area of Mumbwa District with support from the Community Chest of Korea. The project aims to improve resilience to Climate Change among local farmers. To achieve this, part of the funding is to cover the expense under the contract for the Borehole sitting, drilling, supply, and installation of hand pumps in 13 villages of Chiwena Area in Mumbwa District.

The overall objective of the EOI is to preselect borehole drilling construction contractors or firms that will provide construction services of boreholes and hand pumps in 13 selected villages in Chiwena. The specific villages are Mika, Sokotela, Chiwena, Mutebe, Mwambanabantu, Chisaka, Choonta, Kabesa, Kauta and Kayamboma. Others include Mwanamakaya, Kapelabulungu and Sanse. The construction contractors will be responsible for the drilling of boreholes, and construction of related civil works, and the installation of hand pumps.

GNZ is inviting construction contractors to a competitive vendor selection and vetting process. Interested vendors must provide all necessary information and documentation demonstrating they have the required eligibility, competence, legally registered licenses, NCC registration Category C- grade 6, financial liquidity and capable management, and verified client references. Vendors who qualify will be preselected for the next stage of procurement to provide the specific construction services.

Eligibility: The Construction Contractor (applicant) must have and should share copies of a certificate of competency from WARMA, Valid NCC Certificate Grade 6, Category Construction (C) and Valid EIZ Certificate. In addition, the Construction Contractor should share copies of other appropriate documentary evidence demonstrating the applicant’s compliance.

The documentation required to provide evidence of eligibility shall be;

1. Certificate of Incorporation

2. Valid Tax Clearance Certificate

3. Valid Workers Compensation Certificate

4. Valid NAPSA Certificate

5. Valid NCC Certificate (Grade 6 category C)

6. Valid EIZ Certificate

7. Litigation Status

8. Documentary evidence establishing the bidders’ qualifications to perform the contract

Criteria for Selection: Interested and eligible construction contractors should provide all necessary information demonstrating that they have all necessary equipment (e.g., drilling and service rigs with respective crews), relevant experience and required professional and financial capacity to successfully complete the construction of rural water supply and sanitation infrastructures, quality, and timeline. Applicants whose applications have met the eligibility requirements (“passed”) and met or exceeded selection criteria below will be prequalified and notified invited for the next stage of procurement.

Technical and professional expertise and qualifications of Key Personnel: The construction contractor must demonstrate that they will deploy at least the key positions that meet the following requirements for each construction site. The construction contractor must provide resumes for these positions as Annexes in their submissions. Applicants may also recommend additional positions as appropriate.

Past Performance : The construction contractor should submit a summary of similar construction contracts completed, including client name, duration, cost, a brief description of the service, and contact details of a person knowledgeable of works performed in the last five years. Provide copies of contracts or purchase orders to demonstrate past performance. Provide details in the Annexes.

Financial Capacity: Applicants must demonstrate access to, or availability of, financial resources such as liquid assets, unencumbered real assets, lines of credit, and other financial means, other than any contractual advance payments to meet the necessary cash-flow requirement. The applicant should submit audited financial statements for at least the last three years demonstrating soundness of applicant’s financial position and its prospective long-term profitability. Provide details in the Annexes.

Registration with Zambia Public Procurement Authority: Construction contractors registered with ZPPA have added an advantage and will receive a higher rating. Provide details in the Annexes.

Applicant’s EOIs should be in English and may not exceed 5 pages; however, an applicant cover page, executive summary, and annexes are not included in this page limitation requirement. Additional pages over the maximum allowed will be removed and not evaluated.
